No more hours spent sewing labels - our nametags apply in seconds directly to fabric and are designed to be comfortable with no irritation to your child’s skin. 1. Peel the label from the backing sheet, place on the garment and cover with the silicone sheet provided.
2. Set your iron to the highest temperature suitable for the fabric (no steam).
3. Press firmly over the label for 10–20 seconds.
4. Remove the silicone sheet, allow the label to cool, and check that all edges are fully bonded. If needed, iron for a few more seconds.

- Always follow the garment’s care instructions.
- Do not apply labels to fabrics that are not suitable for ironing.
- Always use the silicone sheet when applying labels.
- Avoid direct ironing over the label after application.
- When ironing garments, use a protective layer over the label to prevent damage. If you do not have one, avoid direct contact between the iron and the label.

In 2020, My Nametags commissioned independent research by Censuswide, surveying 2000 UK parents. The findings revealed a clear gap between intention and behaviour: 1 in 10 admitted discarding school uniforms still in wearable condition, 81% buy new uniforms each year. On average, items are replaced every ten months. While over half of parents donate outgrown uniforms to charity, the research suggests the main challenge is not awareness, but preventing loss in the first place. Simple labelling can help ensure uniforms are returned rather than replaced - helping to reduce loss, unnecessary purchases, and ultimately waste and landfill impact.
